STATION BUSES, LISBON the garage of buses in two levels, with 90 seats, is located in the part the northwest of the Station of East, in a land with an unevenness of 17 ms, garage with two independent entrances to each level from the street, with a halfed-bury level. For economic reasons of urban quality and, in ground floor and facade street is a commercial surface in front of the surface dedicated to garage, that is to say, that aside from the accesses to the garage the facade is completely commercial and therefore it is transparent more possible, avoiding therefore an architecture marked by its main use, the one of garage of buses. The garage of buses, is functional, with generous dimensions and a sober architecture, of seen concrete, with one double columnata, a column each two buses. The treatment of the concrete, in the walls, columns, beams and ceiling, with a waterproof shining and colorless antigrafitis, that will facilitate the cleaning and maintenance and will put in value the quality of the concrete. In the ground, in addition to a concrete plate with quartz sand, it will be dealt with polyurethane painting with silica additive, to avoid to slip. The illumination is very important: functionally, to see correctly the spaces psychological and, so that the people dominate the space visually and they do not have problems of claustrofobia. She is for that reason, that will illuminate the perimetrales walls, the significant elements like the columns, doors, etc. and the central part of the circulation, aside from installing an integrated signals, respecting the security norms fire. From the street and in the center of the building a great vestibule like entrance to the superior levels is, forming a vestibule with two panoramic elevators, that arrive at the level +27.00, level of the superior street, that is the prolongation of the existing street, with one or two buildings of offices, according to the alternative that is approved. The solution with a building, corresponds to the schemes of the program, with a street open terrace longitudinally. The alternative solution with two buildings, is a proposal with a structured urban space more, a true street with facades of each side in the superior part, level +27.00 and with a vertical facade from the inferior level, level +10, with one better urban integration and one more agreed volumetrķa with the scale of the volumes of the already existing buildings and to construct around the Station of East. Fundamentally, the alternative with two buildings is a solution with a more urban character, without forgetting that it can be the alternative with a better economic balance, from a point of view global financial balance of the operation. From the superior street, level +27.00, has access to four halls with stairs and elevators that communicate the superior levels of offices and the inferior ones with garage for the vehicles of the users of the offices and in the strip against the facade there is also a surface of offices, for the same reasons that the solution of commerce in ground floor. The environmental characteristics of quality and, explained for the garage of the buses, can be applied in the garage for the vehicles of the users of the offices. In addition to being a singular project, the proposal tries to be a modern project (contemporary), is transparent, but keeping the privacy in its interior, made with vanguard technology, respecting the medio.ambiente: energy saving (to see description facades doubles skin). With an architectonic design, from its set to the minimum detail. With an adapted, customized design, to obtain the best comfort, as much in the spaces common as in the prevailed ones of the offices. A quality set, with differentiated spaces and atmospheres. With spaces flexible, functional, diaphanous and adaptable with partition consequently movable, flexible and modulables spaces voluntarily, in individual in the offices. The buildings of offices, are conceived with a criterion of Maxima flexibility, that is to say, in addition to being two in the superstructure with an operation of independent way, they can be official notices with footbridges that cross the peatonal street; each level of each building can be divided until in four independent parts, from the central nucleus of the stairs-elevators. In the central nuclei, besides to lodge the elevators and stairs, to the technical premises, toilets, rooms of meeting, archives, etc. can be located leaving free the rest of the surface of each plant, to organize it as "they open espace", or with the detachable modular divisions, that are desired and in the location that is desired, following a modulation or plot international of to 1.35 mililiter, modulation corresponding also to the facades. The flexibility and adaptability, are completed by the accomplishment of the networks of facilities in technical ground, allowing to connect the office furniture, in any wished point. When organizing the surface of offices in two buildings in addition to the interest of the creation of the urban space and the flexibility of its compartmentation or division, also allows a construction by phases if therefore it is desired or if imposes the commercialization. The wall facades curtain of double glass skin, in all wide and the height of each office in addition to the qualities of heat insulation and acoustic, allow to have a transparency towards the outside from any position: of foot, seated and consequently a better visual comfort. The plinth of the set, from level +10 to the +27, where it is the commerce in front of the garage of the buses and the offices in front of parking, has a facade composed by a white marble wall, with windows. The facades of the buildings of the offices, superior to level +27, are composed by a wall curtain of glass, and finished off with a retranqueo, forming a planted attic of two levels, leaving in the outside a columnata between two frisos of aluminum lacado in white color. Commerce, bus-station and building of offices, the bus-station is in front of the Station of East. Thanks to the unevenness of the land, more than 5 ms, the station can be located below a great peatonal platform, of public access, base of two buildings of offices that form a street from the Av. Infant D. Enrique to the Station of East, opening themselves, fitting and putting in value the work of the Arq. Calatrava, this street is at the same level of the present footbridge. From the platform, access is had: 1. - to each one of the platforms of the bus-station, lowering by stairs or elevators, after retiring the corresponding ticket in the kioscos located in the peatonal street, 2. - to the commerce, located in this platform, 3. - to the entrances of the buildings of offices. The station has a capacity for about 50 buses, station that has two accesses and two exits and are camouflaged from the outside, to be below the platform, of this one way the set has a more urban aspect. Besides to be protected of the inclemencies and a better control of his watchmen, it can be closed according to the schedules that agree, being avoided therefore the problems of vandalism. The set is cut by the passage of the aqueduct of the Edge, in which, in a wide one of 10 ms it is not possible to be constructed and the constructions to 10 ms of each side must be in favor authorized of society EPAL. What one sets out in the project, respecting the previous thing, is to both unite the volumes of buildings of offices, in 4° level over the platform, that is to say, in 5° level from the bus-station, thus to have a continuity and one better urban integration. In wide a superior one to the 10 ms, it would be planted, as if a cross-sectional linear park one was. Which could not only be contemplated from the level of the station, but also from the platform, because the trees would exceed this level and would be an important element of the urban composition of the inner street. The peatonal street will have two different, but complementary scales, one on the scale of the set, from the Av. Infant D. Enrique to the station of East and another one more "domestic servant", formed by the kioscos of tickets and commerce. The street will be able to be united by means of one or two footbridges, when 1er level of the Station of East. This street could be cover and in that case, in the cover can have panels with photovoltaic cells (modernity image), that can catch the energy of the light, transforming it into electrical light for nocturnal illumination directly or using the energy for the elements of the spaces common public or, like for example the elevators of the bus-station. Obtaining, along with the facades, an economy of energy to importante(ver official, local, national and even European aids of financing). The buildings of offices projected with such flexibility principles, transparency and comfort that the buildings that are upon the garage of buses, have volumes on the scale of the district and the street that form, in addition their construction can represent the financial balance of the set. Voluntarily the outer and inner facades are different. The facades of the outside are formed by a white marble wall, fitting the windows, like the facade of the plinth of the set of the garage of buses and the facades of the peatonal street are of wall glass curtain, like those of the buildings of the offices that are upon the garage of buses. The volumes are different, the peatonal street also. The angles of the outer facades, next to the project of the Arq. Calatrava, are like a volume of a rock broken on which it emerges prisms from glass, in counterpoint to a set with a more rigorous order. Counterpoint between the facades of glass of the street and stone in the outer facades, with an Architecture different and in counterpoint also with the Architecture from the Station of East, but forming a balanced set, with a force of urban design.
